GENERAL REGISTRATION PROCEDURES
NOTE:
If you desire a copy of
any paper work, make copies BEFORE you turn it in.
PRINT clearly on all forms.
You may register your team either with USSSA or with
MYSA. Contact the WMSL league office with questions concerning the
differences between the two registrations. Any differences in procedures
below will be noted.

Fill out Player MEMBERSHIP FORM

Copy of Birth Certificate for new players to our
system. Returning players do not need to provide. Hospital, baptismal
or religious certificates will not be accepted

There is a yearly fee

Fill out Coach MEMBERSHIP FORM
-
MYSA - Must obtain a minimum of a F coach's license and
provide us a copy once.

USSSA - no coach license requirement

Every coach must submit information for a Background
Check. After you register you will receive instructions on how to do
this.

There is a yearly fee
Player Pass (Cards)
-
Both Players and Coaches are required to have. ID cards
will be presented to referees prior to each game. It is proof of current registration and eligibility

Current wallet size photo attached
-
Signature must match name on front and on
roster. If participating in MYSA State Cup, signature must match EXACTLY.

Must be permanently laminated. Laminating supplies are
available at no charge at the WMSL league office

Will be generated at the WMSL league office and
returned to the team to attach photo, be signed and laminated

Fill out WMSL TEAM SIGNUP FORM
-
All teams should have a distinct name. Even though
teams are different ages, identical names can be confusing. Distinct
team names will be assigned by the league if necessary.

All teams in the Fall and NEW teams in the Spring, fill out WMSL ROSTER WORKSHEET and attach all membership
forms, birth certificates, coach license

An official Team Roster will be generated and
returned to the team. Teams must have a copy of their
official roster at game sites at all times.

MYSA teams playing any games, league or tournament, outside
of Missouri must complete an
e Travel Request
-
USSSA teams are not required to fill out travel
permission forms
During the
seasonal year no coach, player, parent, or any other team member may
approach a rostered member on two teams for the purpose of
asking them to tryout and/or play for that team, in that year, or any
subsequent year. Exception: During the period of tryout start date (determined
each Spring) to
August 31 of the current seasonal year, players may be recruited for the
upcoming season.
